Turkey Hill Experience Rebrand
My biggest project as a Turkey Hill Graphic Design Intern was, to assist in the graphic assets for the rebrand of their attraction in Columbia PA. I created a new brochure, coupon designs, vouchers, Photo Ops, signage and logos for the activities they offer. The goal was a modernized look, a sleek, clean design that represented the direction the company was heading with their brand.
My main project for the rebrand was the Taste Lab Logo design. It began with sketches that resembled ice cream shapes, sprinkles, science droppers, lab equipment, graphics that translated to the activity that guests would be doing in the lab. I wanted it to be fun but clear and to the point, highlighting the laboratory/custom aspect.
After narrowing down the designs we liked, my creative director approved the direction and I mocked it up in Adobe Illustrator. Creating a sprinkle pattern and testing out fun graphic assets to accompany the typography.
The two finalists of our design process, the gradient added a colorful element, the sprinkles were carefully placed to create balance within the type. The logo with the “A” beaker is childlike and adds a creative graphic to draw guests into the experience.
When my internship and freelance work was completed the final logo was still in works but the final piece held elements of my design and is displayed in their Experience and on their website.
This rounded, blocky, typography brings a fun vibe that entices the eye and is straight to the point. By this point in the process I am honing in detail and color.

I also created social media posts and took product photos for the website and newsletter. This brochure was made for their ice cream attraction, highlighting the activities and events held at the Turkey Hill Experience.

To Dip or Not to Dip, social media post
Inspired by Shakespeare’s To Be or Not To Be, this post was a promotion for their chocolate dipped ice cream bars.
Here I’ve picked out my background from our Adobe Stock selection, picking a backyard pool to simulate where many customers will be enjoying this treat, in their own backyards! I posed the glasses with different fruits that coincide with the flavors, making sure to brighten the color and give a detailed contrast to the fruit garnishes. I had done some color editing on the strawberry and pomegranate smoothie to make that color pop. The pomegranate smoothie has a lemon, well when photographing the pomegranate with the smoothies the garnish didn’t exactly hold up. It melted and got juice everywhere and made the smoothie look like a horror movie. So we opted for the simple lemon.
Ice Cream Lemonade Smoothies Social Media post
The Turkey Hill lemonade Smoothies promotion was an invention made by the Research and Development team, halfway through my internship. I was in charge of photographing and editing these delectable treats to quench your thirst from the screen.
